Shoot looters? Shoot RightBloggers.
The Right-Blogoshpere is advocating the shooting of looters. Not the snipers, armed gangs or armed rapists... but people stealing.
Materialists suck. Shoot them instead.

Deteriorating conditions in New Orleans will force authorities to evacuate the tens of thousands of people at city shelters, including the Superdome, where a policeman told CNN unrest was escalating.
The officer expressed concern that the situation could worsen overnight after three shootings, looting and a number of attempted carjackings during the afternoon.
When we're released from the artificial chains that wealth, government and soceity put upon us, we are the "ragheads" and the "niggers" and "spics" and the "goatfuckers" and "savages" and "terrorists" and "warmongers" and "tyrants" and "haters" and "lovers" and "druggies" and "rapists" and everything else we tell ourseles we're not.
Take away our chains, and we are core humanity.
When brought stripped of everything, we are the same. No matter what.

The group the pro-war purplebellies attacked...... was the law breaking, ganster Protest Warrior. They're so in need of fighting somebody, they'll fight eachother!!!
Canadian comic Glenn Foster once said about America: America is always at war. "They had a civil war. No one left to fight? Fuck it, two teams?"

Because Fascism is Fun in America
Pro-Bush, anti-Cindy
Across town in Crawford, other parents of soldiers who are serving or have died in Iraq countered Sheehan with their own raucous rally that started with a prayer.
The pro-Bush caravan was coordinated by Move America Forward, a group led by former California Assemblyman Howard Kaloogian and Republican strategist Sal Russo.
Organizer Howard Kaloogian accused Sheehan of "giving hope and encouragement to our enemies."
The crowd, which organizers said topped 3,000 but appeared closer to 1,500, chanted "Cindy, Go Home" and compared her to Jane Fonda, whose visit to a North Vietnamese gun site in 1972 earned her the nickname "Hanoi Jane."
"Cindy-Hanoi Jane," read one of the signs at the rally.
In one heated moment, members of the pro-Bush crowd turned on what they mistakenly thought were a group of anti-war protesters, cursing them, threatening them and tearing down their signs. A police officer rushed the group to safety. |
Rabid to the max! No wonder power hungry warmongers love these people.

For the past few days I've been working in Arizona and other than the breathtaking mountains, bearable heat and cute lizards I've also noticed that ribbon stickers/magnets are everywhere. From the black "POW/MIA" to the red, white and blue "God Bless America" to the yellow "Support Our Troops". Everyone seems to have a ribbon worthy cause.
Free speech is awesome and all these people have the right to express themselves using the fake ribbons, but it's getting too much. We don't need anymore bumper politics, we need actual discussion, we need talk.
In philosophy, the essential part of gaining freedom for yourself is to analyze and reflect. Without it, we're just static robots living by habit and not by thought. This can be in any thread of life: business, home, politics. I see those standing by Bush, chanting old slogans, talking the same words he does... I see those people as having the sad flaw of being unreflective upon their beliefs and themselves. If they truly want freedom, if they truly believe in America, its laws and its future, they would look and analyze Bush's actions. They would see his anti-freedom, pro-politik, pro-himself tract and I hope they would begin to question him and his government. You do not have to give up your faith in "the mission" to spread freedom and democracy (albeit I think it’s a naïve, destructive belief). Asking questions is not unpatriotic or pro-terrorism. It’s mature and intelligent to question. Without questions, how do we learn? Without learning, how can we progress?

No Tears for the Non-Jews of Palestine
From the Guardian: The settlers' retreat was the theatre of the cynical
Despite my distain for the Zionists, the Israeli state has NO right to evict them. The State has no right to eject ANYONE: Arab or Hebrew. This is just more evidence of the State's hate of freedom.

LAST NIGHT THERE WERE 1,500 CANDLELIGHT VIGILS FOR CINDY SHEEHAN AND ONE BURNING CROSS. Sheehan has become the poster girl for the antiwar Left, because her status as a grieving mother renders the 48-year-old Vacaville, California, native more sympathetic than Medea Benjamin, Ramsey Clark, or Michael Moore (whose website hosts Sheehan’s blog). However, neo-Nazis, Klansmen, and racist extremists have also begun gathering around the Gold Star Families for Peace founder. |
I won't link, as usual, to the wack jobs. Front Page is again going the as far as it can to smear the "enemy" (aka anyone they don't like). David Horowitz's slide from Left to Right can be compared to Hitler's. Reactionary at its most deadly. Thank the Gods Horowitz is only a paid shit thrower and not in power, or we'd have to get July 20th on his ass.
